The Thames is not so crowded these days, which makes for easier boating, and more room in the locks. The lock-keepers are friendly and very helpful and there are lots of nice pubs along the way.

Very well kept boat in a beautiful part of the country, most impressed with how quiet it was for August. It was lovely to be able to moor in the middle of nowhere with no traffic or houses to been seen anywhere, just cows!
