The birdlife was amazing, and we saw many species of wader and other birds we had never seen, and we and spent a whole evening watching a Kingfisher flying up and down the river just a few yards from our mooring. Feeding cygnets, goslings and ducklings was a real pleasure and watching a flock of starlings at sunset was a special treat. There’s a great feeling of freedom and relaxation sitting on deck with the canopy down cruising at 5mph on a sunny day – the experience was excellent!
