An excellent holiday. I really was able to wind down after a very hectic lifestyle and job. The boat was really good and I would recommend the Firefly boat – it sits quite high up in the water and we were able to get much better views than most boats.

The adventure of being afloat was great. The lovely peacefulness, scenery and the wildlife were wonderful. Where else might you have cuckoos sitting in a tree next to you while looking at otters, waterfowl, nesting birds and predators? The friendliness and helpfulness of others on the water and local inhabitants made a welcome change from the normal bustle. It was a holiday out of the ordinary that gave us the opportunity to relax, put life in perspective and give us something to talk about for some time to come.
