I can recommend this style of holiday as it is fun, relaxing and there is so much to do. You will simply be amazed – it was excellent!
Mr B from Banstead

I would highly recommend taking a boating holiday in the UK. This was our 4th time, and we always find loads of different things to do everytime we go. There is always somewhere new to visit and something that you havent seen before. My kids are fascinated every year and it is so much better than being confined to one resort – basically you get the best of both worlds. We came home this year and booked for next year the following day!!!!
Mrs N from Ushaw Moor

I would like to recommend this holiday as it is a peaceful and relaxing experience, and the staff are excellent. We thoroughly enjoyed our week on the Broads!
Mrs B from Llandeilo

The service, friendliness from start to finish was wonderful. I woudl recommend this holiday because of the whole experience, quietness, scenery, wildlife, food and walks.

What do other people say about Royall Ambassador from Royalls Boatyard

We have been boating on the Broads for years and still come back every year for at least a week. It is a complete relaxation away from the stresses and strains of life. The freedom of going where you want, when you want is wonderful, and whether just the two of us or, as in this week the whole family, it is always a good way to spend time together.
Mrs A from Norfolk

This was my ninth visit after a gap of 38 years and it was every bit as good. The boats are like luxury caravans in water, and the experience of driving them is a thrill. You are never stuck for something to do or to see, and the food at the pubs can be quite exceptional – but a barbecue on the bank is even better. I’m 64 and at my age the adventure is still simulating for the kid in me!
Mr C from Market Drayton

I would like to highly recommend Royall’s. As a family run boatyard the boat was well maintained and they provided a warm welcome – the bottle of wine was also a nice touch!
Mr G from Gosport

We regularly recommend the Norfolk Broads as an ideal holiday destination for all ages, and add that in our opinion Royall’s Boats are the best maintained boats on the river. The Broads are a haven of wildlife and nature reserves where the amount of conservation work being carried out is most impressive. The public are not excluded from these areas but are welcomed into them and then leave better educated on the delicate balance between man and nature.
Mr S from Sutton Coldfield

To anybody who has not yet been on a Norfolk Broads boating holiday, please give it a go – once you do you will return I’m sure!
Miss M from Middlesborough

We enjoyed our holiday alot.
Mr S from Stanford-Le-Hope

Royalls is one of the few remaining small family owned yards left and it is nice to have the friendly and personal service that is provided. We had a bottle of wine on the boat to welcome us and a bag of sweets for our homeward journey, lovely! We holiday most years on the Broads and have always been pleased with the service and boats from Royalls, we would highly recommend this holiday and are going again in September with the same yard!
Mrs A from Norfolk

The Norfolk Broads are a great place to see nature in all its splendour. The boats are the best on the Broads and there is no better way to get up and close to nature than being on the water!
Mr D from Bedford

All at Royalls Boatyard were lovely and very helpful and the Norfolk Broads had lots to explore, whatever the weather.
Mrs I from Bracknell

A stress free, relaxing and envigouring experience, a chance to unwind with something new to discover around every corner. Exceptional views, sensational wildlife upclose and a must for everyone to enjoy!
Mrs S from Beccles

The staff at Royall Boatyard were very friendly and helpful, and the Broads are a great place to holiday.
Mrs C from Southampton

I would recommend this holiday to anyone and everyone as its a very easy way to relax, unwind as do a much or as little as you like during your holiday.
Mr C from Liverpool

Mr W from Southsea

I would like to recommend this holiday as it was brillant and the boat was easy to handle although there were only the two of us! The scenery of the Broads is breathtakingly beautiful – overall a wonderful experience.
Mrs P from Immingham

A very relaxing way to spend a week and unwind from the stress of everyday life.
Mrs B from Harrogate

Although my wife was initially dubious about just the 2 of us handling a boat, and indeed the whole idea, we had an extremely enjoyable holiday helped by some glorious weather, and the friendliness of everyone we met. Having done it once we would certainly go again!!
Mr R from Wilmslow

Nobody knows exactly where you are which is fantastic as you can’t be reached if you don’t want to be. In remoter parts such as Dilham there is no phone signal anyway (you can always use a phone box in an emergency!) You can make it the holiday you want. If you want to go out for a meal or drink every night then glam up and go. But if you want to chill and just watch the river life, nature and wave at other boats as they go by you can do that too. Being on the water is so relaxing. As you pull out of the boatyard, your worries and stresses just melt into the calming water – the best!!!!
Mrs W from Herne Bay

I found this holiday very relaxing, we will definitely come again!
Mr P from Southsea

A fantastic getaway from it all and a great way to unwind!
Mrs B from Leeds

Symphony is absolutely perfect for a couple. The warm air heating makes the boat ideal for cold weather cruising and the sunroof makes it great for warm weather. A nice touch with a full size fridge and the bed is as wide as a full size double and really makes for a comfortable time afloat. Oh and the new engine at the back makes things at the front nice and peaceful with no morning checks to make – hire with confidence!
Mrs B from Lincoln

Freedom, peace, relaxation and natural beauty surround you – you could not want or ask for any more. This is my 6th trip with yourselves and I have never booked with any other boatyard, and hope to go to the Broads again next year!
Mr S from Sittingbourne

If you want to have the ultimate quiet and peaceful break which gets you away from all the hassle of your normal life then believe me you are in the right place. Expect a relaxing, peaceful time and sit back and enjoy, then go home with a spring in your step – thanks for such a great holiday, we will be back!
Mr F from Boston

My husband and I have been on the Norfolk Broads every year for the last 10 years. It is a great way to recharge our batteries, whilst also doing as much or as little as you like. You can meet other people if you wish to, but otherwise you can have an enjoyable holiday just for two!
Mrs W from Horley

We would recommend the holiday as we love the boats and always find your boats wonderful.
Mr C from Sittingbourne

A lovely boat with great fixtures and fittings, the Broads were their usual stunning best.
Mr A from Maidstone

What a relaxing way to spend a few days, no more than 4-5 mile an hour you have no choice but to relax and unwind. A perfect way to get rid of the stresses and strains of modern day living.

I would love to recommend this type of holiday as it was superb and much more value for money than if we had went abroad! It was lovely to see another part of the UK and everyone was really friendly. Having your own accommodation that you can move around with was excellent. The weather was good for part of the holiday but there were a few days of heavy rain, having said that, to me the weather didn’t matter so much as the holiday was all about relaxation, so whether I was sitting outside in the sun or relaxing inside while it rained, I had a great time. I would definitely book this type of holiday again through Hoseasons and have told plenty of friends and family that it was great. Also, we took our two dogs and they were so calm on the boat, it must have been relaxing for them as well! They enjoyed their holiday too! We have taken plenty of photos and a couple of videos and are going to post these on to youtube to give other people considering this type of holiday an idea of what it’s like as we looked at other peoples videos before we went. All in all, 10 out of 10, thank you very much!!
Miss M from Cumnock

It was relaxing, comfortable, fun and perfect!
Mr R from London

The holiday is a great time to relax and enjoy the scenery without a care in the world. Boating is a great holiday experience and would recommend it to anybody.
Miss W from Plymouth
