Most enjoyable, relaxing, and truly a get away from it all holiday.. For those who have been before, this is a very good boat to handle despite its size. For those who have not been before don’t be put off by its size as the bow thrusters are powerfull and will really help you when mooring. However, if you are like me, I find if more challenging to not use the bow thrusters but use the flow of the current to assist mooring instead.

An ideal and relaxing holiday, you have the choice of being really active or just lazing in one location. Brilliant scenery which you can only really appreciate when moored up (not racing by in a car/coach), and a really friendly atmosphere. The staff were very friendly and obliging. WE TOOK TWO 11 YEAR OLDS WHO WERE EXCITED BY THE PROSPECT OF A PLAYSTATION ON BOARD. THEY USED IT FOR ONLY HALF AN HOUR, AFTER THAT THEY WERE TOO BUSY TO PLAY ON IT. RESULT! The holiday was a real chill out, the scenery was everything you could wish and the people of the area welcome visitors and make you feel welcome. The riverside pubs serve excellent food and drink at fair prices. The boat “Spitfire” was spacious, comfortable, well equipped and well laid out.
