The lounge had two sumptuous leather armchairs to sink into, very comfortable! The bathroom had a bath and a shower over it and was a decent sized room to manouvre in. Overall the boat was a great place to spend two glorious weeks living amongst the natural beauty of the Norfolk Broads.

The Norfolk Broads have in the past had a reputation for being noisy and overcrowded, which is why we have avoided them up until now. However, we went out of season and went to quiet places recommended by Whispering Reeds Boatyard, who were most helpful and informative (and very efficient in boat hand over). It is very relaxing and also dog friendly so we could take our dog with us and he could get plenty exercise, and if we went for meal The Dog inn at Ludham admitted dogs inside so you could enjoy your meal and know dog is happy.
