What do other people say about Pearl Horizon from Horizon Craft

I persuaded my wife to try cruising on the Broads and although she was initially apprehensive she really enjoyed the holiday. We both found it very relaxing and although we had a mixture of weather, ranging from scorching sun to torrential rain we found that this didn’t affect our enjoyment.
Mr. M from Middlesbrough

It was a world away from the rush of normal life, a step back in time. Lots of new experiences – so many sunsets and sunrises, perfect reflections, wildlife of all sorts seen up close and the camaraderie of the boating community. A combination of activity, relaxation, beautiful scenery and wildlife!
Mrs B from Newton Abbot

This was our first time on the water and we shall surely be back. If you just need to get away from the rat race this will do the job from the moment you step aboard!
Mrs W from Hull

Its a great holiday, no stress just relaxation all the time and no need for dressing up just comfy clothes (what heaven)! The ultimate holiday to get away from it all – I can’t wait till 2010 and O can then do it all again!
Mrs U from Frinton-On-Sea

The Norfolk Broads are a beautiful and a relaxed boating experience, and is a wonderful way to retreat from working day stresses. Most people are friendly and helpful and free moorings aren’t difficult to find.
Mrs W from Alfreton

A very relaxing experience – two weeks away from the world was wonderful!
Mrs C from Waltham Abbey

Very relaxing and a completely different way of holidaying!
Mrs J from Romford

We always enjoy our holidays on the Broads, and we have been coming since 1975! We have visited pretty much every boatyard and have always found the welcome very warm.
Mrs R from Bromley

In 2009 we found the guys at Horizon, Acle Bridge were just as genuinely friendly and helpful as we found them in 2005 and earlier years. The Norfolk Broads is a brilliant place for a relaxing holiday in an area that is so unique to the U.K. We’re both retired now – I’m 70 plus and my wife is over 65 but the boats are so very easy to handle and comfortable that makes a great holiday break for us — we certainly hope to revisit our favourite haunts again.
Mr B from Manchester

Yes, would recommend.
Mrs H from Sheffield

From the first moment we entered the boat yard the holiday was faultless, even though the weather wasn’t perfect the staff at the yard looked professional in their uniforms, they inspired confidence and were so helpful and friendly, Ive only been on canals before but my experience with your company and the Broads was so amazing I know I’ll be back as soon as possible, thank you all for a really great experience.

It was a lovely peaceful chill-out break for my husband and I. The reception people were particularly helpful and friendly (it was our first time). The boat was clean and well equipped, and the weather was lovely.
Mr H from Faversham

Our boat, Jaguar, was very spacious for just two of us. It had a four poster bed and plenty of room to walk around it in the bedroom. The lounge had two sumptuous leather armchairs to sink into, very comfortable! The bathroom had a bath and a shower over it and was a decent sized room to manouvre in. Overall the boat was a great place to spend two glorious weeks living amongst the natural beauty of the Norfolk Broads.

We have been many times on the Norfolk Broads and would recommend the holiday to anyone who lives a stressfull lifestyle. Just cruising along at a leisurely pace and mooring either in the middle of nowhere or at a riverbank is so relaxing!
Mrs K from Glenrothes

We absolutely loved it, it was so relaxing and after mooring at night we closed the curtains to watch tv, it was so cosy. We can’t wait to go again.
Mr W from Gainsborough

Such a relaxing time – don’t rush to cover the whole Broads in a week, the pleasure is mooring up early and having a snooze.
Mrs P from Sandy

The absence of locks on the Norfolk Broads means that the less physically able can cope. The Broads offer a unique, tranquil experience that differs markedly from canal cruising. Mooring sites are especially well run on the broads.

What do other people say about Grey Goose from Whispering Reeds

It’s one of the most relaxing holidays I’ve ever had! I turned off my mobile and the world and life took on a completely relaxed, laid back feel with no worries and sheer happiness – you just can’t get that kind of holiday anywhere else!
Mrs M from Livingston

MyNot only towns, villages and a city can be seen but water foul, numerous birds and various plants as well. We both totally enjoyed it.
Mr D from Hythe

I cannot recommend this too highly. Having travelled the world, this is proably the most relaxing holiday we have ever taken – no idea why we haven’t done it before!
Mr H from Twickenham

The peace of mornings on the Broads are hard to beat. Waking up to a misty sunrise over the water with the birds singing is very relaxing – far away from everyday stresses. The bubbling of the water against the hull, and the kingfishers wizzing by, or marsh harriers hunting overhead are just magical.
Mrs B from Market Rasen

I spent 5 days cruising the Broads and came home more relaxed than I have from a fortnight in Spain! This is the most “get away from it all” holiday I have ever had!
Mr H from Benfleet

The Norfolk Broads have in the past had a reputation for being noisy and overcrowded, which is why we have avoided them up until now. However, we went out of season and went to quiet places recommended by Whispering Reeds Boatyard, who were most helpful and informative (and very efficient in boat hand over). We were delighted to see a tremendous lot of wildlife, in particular goslings, ducklings, rarer birds and seals (across the dunes from a couple of the broads). It was a delighful and relaxing way to see some of Norfolk.
Mrs M from Hereford

We had a wonderful holiday and the staff at the Whispering Reeds boatyard were very friendly and helpful. It was my first time on the Broads and we will definitely be going back!
Mr P from Reading

My partner and I had a fantastic weekend cruising along the Norfolk Broads. The Scenery and the Wildlife were amazing, seeing a Kingfisher at work was one of the highlights of the trip. We really missed our boat and couldn’t wait to get back on it after every trip onto dry land. I would recommend a boat trip on the Broads as the perfect antidote to the stresses and strains of modern life.
Mr H from Bristol

The broads are especially beautiful in autumn, with great flocks of birds and lovely colours on the trees. The staff at Whispering Reeds were very friendly and professional – a top rate boatyard that I’d recommend unreservedly.
Mr G from Oxford

This is a wonderful holiday with a differant “resort” each night – or not as you wish. You can eat in or out as you wish, and dress or not as you wish. I thoroughly recommend the Broads to anyone wanting a “get-away” holiday.
Mrs E from Bedford

A lovely reception with good quality information before setting off, there is lovely scenery and good pubs on the broads.
Mrs W from Bedford

We would recommend due to the total relaxation of the holiday and the surrounding area.
Mr H from Prescot

This holiday was the first on the Broads for my wife and I, the boat was easy to use and the the wildlife is fantastic – we will book again!
Mr N from Hatfield

A wonderful relaxing holiday with plenty of lovely places to see. This was our forth time on the Broads and we will be coming back again. I would recommend a boating holiday to anyone. Whispering Reeds staff were friendly, helpful and very relaxed I would definitely use that boatyard again.
Mrs E from Arnold

This holiday was the perfect way to recharge the batteries and wind down from the pace of city life. Hoseasons booking and payment system is excellent and ease of travel make this such a hassle free holiday. The Norfolk waterways, countryside and people made this a very special and fun holiday!
Miss M from Norfolk

If you are looking for a totally relaxing, get away from the rat race holiday, then this it – brilliant!.
Mr S from Witney

The Broads are highly recommended – we loved our holiday and will be booking again!
Mr M from Eastleigh

I have already recommended you and Whispering Reeds as they are warm friendly and efficient.
Mr P from Slough

Welcome at the boat yard was brilliant. Really friendly and much more than one would expect from a commercial organisation.
Mr J from Littlehampton

A very helpful and friendly boatyard. The boat (Grey Goose 2) is just big enough for 2 and a dog, although outside of the summer the canopy can make it difficult to take a dog ashore in the dark.We would recommend the Nelsons Head pub in Horsey, particularly for vegetarians, again a very place which makes dogs welcome.
MR P from Doncaster

Whispering Reeds is a great boat yard. We have used them before and will again. We have been on over 20 Broads holidays, and find that Whispering Reeds is right at the top for a friendly welcome and having time for their customers. The boats are very well maintained and they obviously take a pride in their fleet and their reputation. They deserve every success.
Mrs F from Chelmsford

Almost always amongst like minded, uncompetitive, helpful, friendly people.
Mr W from Ormskirk

The boat and the Broads were fairly easy for first time boaters – and it was great that we could take the two dogs on holiday with us.
Ms G from Aldershot

It was altogether a thoroughly relaxing and peaceful week. We enjoyed all the scenery and wildlife at its best. I would recommend it to anyone.
Mrs R from Colchester

It is a beautiful part of England, the pace of the boat allows you to relax and feel a part of your surroundings, there is an abundance of wildlife to see, we saw our first Kingfishers! It is also great fun getting to grips with the handling and mooring of your boat and the sense of adventure and travel.
Mr H from York

Ms S from Birchington

This is very good form of holidaying, and extremely relaxing. You also get to see parts of the country that you might miss if you drive through the UK!

There os plenty to do and see and each time you go it is different, I have been 17 times and still enjoy going!

Whilst you can plan each day it really does not matter if you don’t reach your planned destination – this is probably because you have found something interesting on your journey, so you will get there but maybe a bit later than planned, but it doesn’t matter as this type of holiday is just that – a pure chill out!! Can’t think of anything that would have made the holiday better. Maybe if fewer boats were on the rivers then mooring up in some of the more popular spots would have been easier-or maybe it was just our lack of experience that made this a little stressful at times! Norfolk is always lovely, and Hoseasons made it easy for us to relax and enjoy the countryside.

Excellent value for money and a wonderfully relaxing pace of travel surrounded by beautiful countryside, interesting wildlife and friendly people!
Mr R from Aldershot

I would recommend this holiday to anybody wanting to get away from it all. The peace found on the rivers is second to none, especially the lesser known ones. My husband and I had our first holiday, without the children, for 27 years in September this year and now they want to come with us next year as we raved about it when we got home. So looks like we will be back for our 17th holiday on the Broads.
Mr G from Wirral

It was the best holiday we’ve had in a long long time! Total relaxation! Didn’t want to come home. Thank you very much for making our honeymoon special.
Mrs P from Emsworth

Boating to me is very relaxing. We like fishing but you can sit and read, there is so much lovely countryside to explore as well.
Mrs G from Barnet

A boating holiday is very relaxing, and the great thing is that you get to see much more of an area than you would if you were staying in a hotel. It is great to moor somewhere different every night. We would definitely book another boating holiday!
Mrs F from Witney

The waterways were stunning!
Mrs D from Huntingdon

We go on a boating holiday every year and find it is by far the best way to relax!
Mrs M from Newark

Who needs to go abroad when you can do this in our own country? The most relaxing thing I have ever done – and so easy to book up too!
Mr M from Gateshead

The boat was excellent and we had a fantastic holiday, meeting lots of lovely people and seeing Norfolk from an entirely different perspective. The experience of mooring up in a peaceful spot and seeing a little owl hunting for prey in the neighbouring field by the light of the setting sun will stay with me for always.
Mr S from Tamworth

It is very relaxing and also dog friendly so we could take our dog with us and he could get plenty exercise, and if we went for meal The Dog inn at Ludham admitted dogs inside so you could enjoy your meal and know dog is happy.
Mrs B from Bathgate

We would certainly recommend this holiday as we felt welcome as soon as we arrived at the boatyard. The boat was spotlessly clean and even on our return we were not hurried in unloading. The boat met all our needs and it was a fantastic holiday!
