Four of us went on our canal boat holiday and had a fantastic time. We are looking forward to another trip. A real “Back in Time” break away from the hussle and bussle of modern life. A slow tour through the beautiful countryside, close up experience of the resurgence of nature, such as the number of dragon flies, ducks and sygnets, combined with exercise. The most relaxing holiday ever! Plenty of exerecise if you wanted it, working locks and walking the towpath and lots of wildlife including Kingfishers and Herons – this time we even saw a barn owl which had just caught some kind of prey. I can’t recommend a holiday on our canals enough, a very pleasurable experience.
