We arrived early and allowed to take the houseboat early. A houseboat is a great inbetween a boat and a shore apartment, though has better facilities than a boat, but still floats and you have the benefit of having your car nearby to visit/explore the local areas. Also it is less expensive than boats, though it is difficult to beat full boating.
