We had a good time, we decided to do a lot of traveling so we took the boat from Stalham to Reedham staying over night then crossing back over and went to Wroxham so did about 14 hours sailing. The boat was easy to handle we even took it under Wroxham bridge ourselves. Took dvd,s but didn’t need to as we didn’t have time to watch them. Everywhere we stopped to eat the local people where nice and the meals were good.

Caley Cruisers staff were unfailingly friendly and helpful. The Caledonian Canal itself is stunningly beautiful and peaceful, even at the height of the holiday season we often saw only a handful of boats cruising each day. The little town of Fort Augustus provides contrast – bustling with tourists, busy inns and the classic Scottish image of bagpipes played by the waterside.
